Still making one of the most POSITIVE IMPACTS on youth in his island federation of St. Kitts - Nevis (Caribbean), Khrystus Wallace has launched yet another innovative, creative, empowering project to Catch and Empower The Youth while they are young.
Wallace founded his ministry in June 2008 and has safely carried it across the 4 year mark as an independent organization without any type of Partial / FULL government, opposition, non-governmental organization or religious organization support or endorsement until recently when Bishop Dr. Kelvin Jones (serving over 52 years in ministry) of The Mount Carmel Baptist Church - www.mountcarmelbaptistonfire.com singlehandedly and publicly recognized the work that Wallace and his team was doing and agreed that his ministry would work along side the vision.
26 year old Dare 2 Be Different International (www.d2bdifferent.com) founder Khrystus Wallace continues to lead the way with his outside the box thinking and innovative creative ideas for youth gospel ministry.
Wallace and some members of his team usually have Sunshine Corner (a fresh Bible-Based Children & Youth Activity) on Sunday afternoons at his home where they sing, learn and complete activities about the Bible in a fun, positive, empowering environment.
After Sunshine Corner on Sunday, 28th October, 2012, Wallace told those youth that were interested that he was going to show them how to print t-shirts at his homebased business and learn a new skill from scratch. He explained to them, especially the older ones, that in a tough global economy, having a skill was a sense of job and financial security in the future and they probably would be further on than those who have subjects, are qualified but have no skill and are suffering now.
Wallace told the youths that if they were interested in going further, the afternoon activity was just a pre-amble to his CATCH THEM YOUNG YOUTH PROJECT which is geared at teaching entrepreneurship and positive values and virtues as early as Primary School. Wallace commented, "this is a skill you would have for life if you take me on seriously and continue to come around to Dare 2 Be Different Events.
Most of the youth were excited, but it didn't catch the spirit of all. They excitedly followed Wallace into his dark room as he made a Dare 2 Be Different T-shirt Screen and then watched him as he taught them how to use one of his screen printinting machines. Having taught the small group of interested youth, with the youngest being 7 years old, Khrystus allowed each to screen print their own Dare 2 Be Different Shirt.
Wallace closed by saying, "My God given vision is a big one and I want all of our global followers to know that they can contribute in other ways too. You do not have to give money. Our youth have many other needs and you can give into their lives. Food, Clothes, Electronics, Toys, Educational Items etc. I also want you to know that my vision is a global vision. To date we have opened Dare 2 Be Differents or Victory Centres - www.thevictorycentre.com in Nevis, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Ghana, Kenya, with applications in from Pakistan, UK, USA and other places. Therefore, your support can be forwarded to a branch near you to help with the work. Thank You!"
